I recently posted my 1,000th video on YouTube. For almost a decade, my channel has served as a cinematic scrapbook of my favorite things: books, travel, and a widely-varied miscellany of day-brightening sundries.

With a new year just begun, I thought a new start was in order. I’ve been wanting to make a change and get back to writing, so we’re going to give this blog and newsletter format a try.
